Together, we did it =)
Of all races, I felt the best yesterday. Not only for myself, but for the entire team.
The feeling our getting back the Overall Women's Champ which we had lost the previous year was indescribable, especiallly when it was our last POL-ITE. That was the point of time that i felt that the last few weeks of really intensive trainings were worth it. I'm really glad it ended up with no regrets.
It was the strength of unity that kept us moving on, wanting it so badly. Without it, we wouldn't have done it.
Rainie, i know that it's a little disappointing that our K2 didn't get it through the finals, but i knew that we did our best and there weren't any regrets. You did great for your K1 too! I would like to thank you for all your encouragements, motivations and assurance during races/trainings. Thanks for boosting up my confidence and having faith in me! Thanks for being so forgiving despite me always flaring up at you during trainings! You're the best partner that i can ever ask for! This shall be the last time i'm reminding you, there shall be no more sorries okay! =)
K4 crew, there is nothing more that i can ask for! Though it was really a short partnership, i really treasured and enjoyed the times that we got to paddle together. It was really great paddling with you people! =)
The entire team, thanks for cheering us on from shore when we're racing and juniors, thanks for helping out in the carrying of the boats yesterday! =)
Not forgetting the seniors, thanks for coming down to support us yesterday! =)
And thank you coach, for your guidance all these while! =)
Finally, it's a load off my chest.
For now, it's a break from paddling till saturday. Looking forward to the team dinner on wednesday.
And after all these, it shall be training for next year's K2 senior women marathon with rainie! =)
